Nursery numbers follow the five-digit numbering system where the first two digits denote the year the nursery is harvested, the third digit will denote either winter (1) or spring (2) wheat, and the last two digits will denote the nursery’s unique number designation. This will be followed by the nursery’s name acronym. Ex: Winter wheat nursery “Winter Regional Disease Nursery” harvested in 2024 with a number designation of 02: 24102_WRDN.
